Get Out

9.5 / 10 “You know I can't give you the keys, right, babe?” The anger I feel when Rose eats her dry cereal piece by piece, while drinking milk through a straw. It’s just such a pretentious thing to do and it makes me hate her character so much more. Couldn’t believe she was in on it the whole time when I first watched this. Jordan Peele’s directorial debut was a perfect blend of comedy and horror. It’s an instant psychological horror classic. My favorite of his films. The opening with Redbone by Childish Gambino is unforgettable. Every character is perfectly portrayed, and the casting was spot-on. I catch something new every time I watch it. Eight years later, I still love it. It’s a masterpiece.
