Sinners

10 / 10 “The best part of me was him.” CONGRATULATIONS TO SINNERS, FOUR-TIME ACADEMY AWARD WINNING FILM. Had to end the night watching Sinners. I love One Battle After Another, but man, Sinners should’ve taken home the award for Best Picture. What this film was able to accomplish and pursue others to do, is generational. Delroy Lindo would have gotten the Best Supporting Actor if it wasn’t for Sean Penn. And what Ryan Coogler was able to do, with this cast, was so impressive. THAT is something an award should be given for, for casting. This film is just so special. Still a 10. Ryan Coogler. Michael B. Jordan. Autumn Durald Arkapaw. Ludwig Göransson. You have made cinema history.
