The Conjuring

9.5 / 10 From the opening title crawl, to the wardrobe scene and the hide-and-clap game. The Conjuring is scary as hell. This has been my favorite supernatural horror movie since I first saw it in theaters in 2013, and it has actually made me a horror movie fan.  Bathsheba makes my skin crawl every time she is on screen. James Wan is so good at creating suspense and tension through his use of camera work and scene building. The perfect supernatural horror movie IMO.  Just thinking about the hands coming out of the wardrobe and slowly clapping, chills down to my spine. Jesus.
