9 / 10 *“You are my sadness and my hope. But mostly, you're my love“ * The start of the Disney+ MCU series began 4 years ago with WandaVision. To date, this is still the most original and creative story Marvel has told. This is the only series that fits the weekly release schedule, with each episode feeling special in their own way like a real television show. The idea of having the first several episodes focus on a specific decade of television with stylistic and visual choices is so genius. Starting with I Love Lucy for the 50’s, then Bewitched as the 60s, The Brady Bunch showing the 70s, then Full House in the 80s and lastly Malcom in the Middle showcasing the late 90s/early 2000s, with the final decade of the last 2000’s/early 2010s mimicking *Modern Family. * Each episode and decade is so unique really capturing the speech dialect, camera work, and music choices from each time period. It’s really something special. I absolutely loved rewatching this series, with this being my first time doing so. Those that complain about Wanda in DS: Multiverse of Madness saying her motives were not justified, are straight up wrong. She is forced to end the life of her life to save the universe, then watches as his life ends again right in front of her. And because of that grief, enslaves an entire city to her will so she can finally have what she has always wanted, a family. And when that is then taken from her again, in order to free all those who have been trapped in her “perfect society world”, her husband is taken away yet again but this time her kids as well. So yeah, it makes sense for her to lose her mind and use the Darkhold to find a universe where her kids actually exist.  After finishing WandaVision, this is my favorite series in the MCU. 2nd being Loki. It is so original, different and fun to watch. Elizabeth Olsen does not get talked about enough for her amazing acting in this. Great show.
