Gremlins

October 11: Pick out a movie from your DVD collection. Yes. We said "DVD."  Aight kinda cheated cuz this is a blu ray but the only dvd I own is 21 Jump Street so… how could you not love this movie? it just exudes charm and the 80’s. the puppets and animatronics are awesome, the Gremlins are such shit heads and the way they’re operated adds to that so much. so much of this is memorable, either in a fun way or a spooky way. I swear that Spike melting at the end has stuck with me since I saw this as a kid. It just feels like so much love was put into it, it’s so much fun. not looking forward to the day that this gets rebooted and the gremlins are all cgi :( it’s a good horror movie and it’s a good christmas movie with a fucking banger of a theme song that I find myself humming too much gizmo is fr so lovable, his big ol eyes ahhhh what a goober
