The Thing

October 13: Watch a horror documentary – or horror film with its commentary track turned on.  Ended up listening to Carpenter and Russell’s commentary on one of my fav horror movies and it’s really just two pals reliving the good times. it’s clear that they loved making the movie and hearing the stories is so fun. Didn’t know Russell was so involved in some of the decisions like the ending, very cool insight on the story and especially the effects. Kurt Russell is having the time of his life, dudes definitely tipsy cuz he’s laughing his ass off at everything… it’s awesome. Also Carpenter gushing about the dog acting made me so happy This movie slaps so hard everytime
