i hate when bugs touch me so this is my worst nightmare. goopy and yucky. the real horror is a mama's boy and his misogynist mother (and the pick me friend). really fucking bizarre. please stop stomping on my orbeez bro have you not seen the grief nemo's dad went through in finding nemo???? my orbs!! i do appreciate the use of practical effects. i will give elma begovic credit for capturing not only the twitchy yucky creepy bugness of it all but also the genuine horror of not knowing what happened to your body and what is currently happening. casey's character as a whole is so tragic. literally her friend wanted her fiance so set casey up to get blackout drunk and fucking raped; she was bit by an insect and became a kind of host for it; her fiance is annoying and so is his mom. her body was taken advantage of twice in ways out of her control. kirsten at least tried to help (reaching out after a week, mind you), but the damage was already done.
