A Different Man

It gets better and better with each rewatch, I swear. The psychological drama, the absurdity, the dark humor somehow all work together really well! I’ve never mentioned this before, but I also really love the film’s main theme track, as well as all the static shots and slow zoom-ins. I believe both fit the pacing of the story perfectly and just enhance it. Damn, crazy how I once gave the movie a 2.5 out of 5. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that Edward, from start to finish, is played by Sebastian Stan. The eye acting and physical performance while in prosthetics are on another level! Truly one of my favorite performances of all time. So glad he finally received the recognition he deserved with the Golden Globe win for portraying Edward and the Oscar nomination for portraying Trump in The Apprentice 🫶🏼 I also really love Sebastian’s on-screen partnership with Renate Reinsve. So excited to see them reunite in Fjord** later this year!
