Spider-Man 2

The perfect superhero film  Sometimes it’s not all about the action and the big bad villains. It’s about telling a great story Raimi makes his best film here and probably the best superhero film of all time. The middle half is absolutely phenomenal. Rlly showing how Parker is battling with his inner self and how Spider-Man is harming himself and others. The way the story shows Spider-Man’s arc even though he’s already had one in the first film is so good his character is built so beautifully showing also how Maguire kinda smashes the role and makes it truely his own. Mary Jane and Spider-Man’s relationship is probably the first convincing romance I’ve wanted it’s clear to us how much Parker wants to date Mary Jane but we knew he cannot  Doc Ock isn’t as good as ppl say but he’s still a rlly great villain who is clearly broken  The story itself is engaging throughout and thrilling and the effects are amazing. Who would’ve thought this film would’ve provided one of the best character study’s put to screen idk. Raimis magnum opus and truely a joy to watch fantastic
