This had a kinda stupid concept but it I thought they really pulled it off.  they took time making you care about the characters and what happened to them so the scenes with suspense and tension worked because they made me actually nervous as to what would happen with certain characters, as opposed to other horror films from this era that were more focused on having the coolest kill and paper thin character depth. Also really cool special effects and the lighting was beautiful.
