Nope

This film is kinda special to me, I just have the best memory watching it a second time with my friend, spending hours talking about it after and going over every little detail I was actually surprised (although it’s fair enough) to find out how divided the opinions on this film are, especially as to me even without the underlying symbolism and commentary it was still an amazing thriller/adventure/comedy/horror with great characters, cinematography and twists Some of my favourite things about this film (spoilers)  - How overly eager Jupe is to talk and make a big show about his trauma without ever actually addressing what really happened  - Him also whispering “I’m chosen” and then his face when he realises he definitely wasn’t and is about to get 50 of his friends and family killed  - How genuinely disturbing the Star Lasso experience was, this movie in general was so good at inducing real terror  - Em and OJ’s relationship  - The fact that it was Jupe’s balloon popping and killing JJ when a balloon popping is what set Gordy off  - The reference to the real life chimp attack and the woman unveiling her face on Oprah  - Keith David
