BEEF
'The moment you begin to worry, the moment you acknowledge the worry, you solidify it into existence, which is why we chose to ignore, and ignore we did.'
Just pure joyful machiavellianism that is equal parts existential and equal parts seductive. There is nothing more thrilling than two people falling apart into each other and with such a trivial spark. BEEF is conscious about the submersion of individual primality in the 21st century and does its best to showcase how important it is to nurture that inner red child inside of us. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong embody the show meticulously as they perform in a Netflix original that finally feels like something original. The look of the show is colourful as it is pristine as we merge two antithetical lives into one chaotic spiral and watch everything collapse. Although the plot feels indecisive in balancing out plots and subplots, BEEF is nothing short of exhilirating.
