Lost Highway

*David Lynch's Meshes of the Afternoon* I completely synced to this movie's wavelength more than I have with nearly any of Lynch's films, and I love a lot of his films. It's baffling to me how little this is discussed especially in conversation with his much more discussed work with how much of it overlaps with or originates here in such a fully realized form. Lots to chew on and lots to get lost in. Glad to have picked it up during this Criterion Sale Season! (Also, Fred's house in this is 3 miles away from the house used in Meshes of the Afternoon, if some of the structural or visual homages weren't enough)
