Watched this with the volume set to 150% and Studio Headphones. My mouth was numb My skin felt dislodged from my body I was wearing my glasses so it felt like watching through a fisheye lens My hands were heavy I had eaten too many Parmigiano Gold Fish Maybe not the best idea to watch this movie like this but this is the best movie. Just the best movie. The part with the Jeremiah monologue and the ghosting effect was particularly disorienting. I would say I want to make movies like this but idk how I could or where to start. I also was thinking of an idea for a short film where the main guy is a metaphor for using mushrooms and he is roommates/best buds with an alien with magic powers. Maybe the alien isn't ACTUALLY real, but he is REALLY an alien. I want to make it like a slice of life story but also mostly try to evoke the feeling of being in that state (even though the character won't actually be high). I forgot about it while watching the movie but thats what I wanted the movie to help me think about.
