Joachim Trier really knows how to write complicated characters. The layering and depth of the screenplay are incredible. The viewing experience feels like receiving a series of tender kisses rather than a passionate makeout. It builds gradually, until everything finally collides near the end, making every prior moment feel more sincere and unforgettable. Hope it performs well at the Oscar.
