Ms. Marvel

I decided to rewatch this show because I kinda forgot how it ended and wow do I got a lot to say. This show is AMAZING!!! At first. And then it gets like really bad?? For like no reason?? The first two episode are shot really well and the editing is so lively. It feels like how a kid views the world with popping colors, moving graffiti, and just overall creative camera movement. And then that slowly fades out as the show goes along. I kind of excuse it at first because the show is getting darker, so it would be appropriate for that stuff to fade out. Like the episode in the past works without the stuff but the rest really don’t. But then in the last episode it’s back?? Things are arguably the darkest with the government firing drones at children but it’s presented in a very silly way. Don’t get me wrong I was happy to see those aspects of the show back, but it makes the absence of it in earlier episodes really weird. The show plays as if none of the directors or editors communicated with one another and it leads to it just feeling really weird and tonally all over the place. Also the cgi is terrible in like all the episodes. I can excuse it in the first few episodes because it isn’t really the focus but in the middle of the show where things are no longer silly and more about action it’s really distracting.  BUT THERE ARE MORE GOOD THINGS: All the characters are really really fun, especially the family. Ms Marvel is just perfect and I really want to see her in more things.
