2nd best film in cinema history. Tarkovsky is a genius at creating a transcendental film, where every frame is filled with different meanings. We ourselves interpret what is shown on the screen, we ourselves choose the character to empathize with (out of 3). It’s incredible how this was created under Soviet censorship. A largely underrated film, but a masterpiece.
