Spider-Man
How I haven’t written about this movie yet is insane.
This is the original comic book movie. Sure, Superman and Batman had franchises before this, but this is the birth of a comic movie.
Willem Dafoe is just utterly brilliant in this movie. He’s a genius.
The story arc of Peter Parker is very residential with me. The idea of Spider-Man, said by Stan Lee himself, “anyone could be spider-man”. This movie feels like really, anyone could be.
