Superman

In a world of Snyder Cuts, be a James Gunn Movie. David Corenswet is my Superman. James Gunn clearly loves comic books. Lex Luthor isn’t a Zuckerberg or Musk parody, but he’s a devoted take on the source material. He’s just evil. No ulterior motives or redeeming qualities. He’s just a bad, bad guy. Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Steve Lombard, Cat Grant and Perry White all give The Daily Planet a real life feel, and everyone hits their marks amazingly. David Corenswet pulls double duty as the larger than life Superman, with personality and charisma, and as the silent Lex Goon Ultraman. He’s brilliant as both, and shows he can embody all the different qualities that make superman super, but also.. man. * * * * * *
