The Batman

Where to even begin.  I was sceptical of the casting of Robert Pattinson as Batman, however he absolutely kills his role as the Dark Knight. He plays the character so well, as the film follows the beginning of Batmans career. CinemaWins on YouTube describes this movie well, saying that this movie is really about Vengeance becoming The Batman.  Everyone in this cast is amazing. Paul Dano is a seriously sinister reimagining of a very campy character from the comic books. The renaming from Edward Nygma to Edward Nashton, while going against traditional lore, I think is necessary for this imagining of the character.  Jeffrey Wright is a standout as Commissioner Gordon. An unreal performance, and it’s clear to see the genuine bond that blooms between himself and Batman.  Colin Farrell. Bravo.  Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman is amazing. Selena Kyle feels fresh and reinvigorated in this film.  If I could rate it higher, I would.
