The scene where Ray makes Stevie's board for him after his fall could quite possibly be the most important scene in the movie, the whole movie he’s hurled abuse by his brother and Ruben not being a great friend and for the first time in the movie he’s shown like true care by someone. The silence of the scene is genuinely so impactful. It’s just a friend helping out his friend with a board and it’s just beautiful man, and the fact it builds into the whole scene with Stevie and Ray with Rays monologue it’s just man I love this movie
