on everyone’s life that was his moment to shine, but instead everything just went so wrong due to his selfish act… people argue as how was he supposed to know the wish was going to be work.. and to that i say any wish you say out loud needs to be said with purpose and carefulness
why would anyone in the right mind would wish for someone to love them more than anyone else in the world, and the biggest factor is relationships need to be mutual… not forced.. this movie did really well on both making me and my family angry but also scared at the same time
watching bear treat his friends and the person he just ruined just makes you seethe and how he took advantage of the moment instead of fixing anything it’s so sad.. and unironically many people would do this if they had the chance… so i hope when people finish this movie we get less of this… going back to the quote i really felt like that was his chance, hearing those exact words are what i think is what i would want to hear if i was in love with someone, it’s so hard to confess or express your love so for them to give you that layup sure if they say no at least they said it, and not you, idk.. maybe im applying myself too much
i’ve criticized a lot of horror movies with cheap jump scares but these may i say are very rich.. nikki does a extremely good job on being eerie and her facial expressions are unmatched. and yes i know the director plays a huge part but let’s give her some flowers because this was a performance
especially with the ending being so iconic and your left with thinking what’s going to happen next, with the diegetic audio and non-diegetic.. so smart
