Inception

Thoroughly enthralled by this film. Christopher Nolan, have my babies. Every movie he makes is just a straight up banger. This is a two and half hour movie and it feels like if flies by, the pacing of the movie with the way it’s always building with the plot and how the music is constantly building, it’s simply just fantastic. I also loved the fact that Christopher Nolan being Christopher Nolan, he tried to use as much practical effects as possible though I will admit when there was CGI involved, it was solid but I have seen better. A good example of the meh CGI would be the decaying city. That doesn’t pull away from a very encapsulating plot though, it’s so in depth with the characters and it really makes you think and be kind of anxious like you don’t know if they are actually always in a dream or not. It’s really an original idea and it works really well. The ending is what had everyone talking though, I say it fell so the movie ends on a good note but yeah the cliffhanger is diabolical. I’m always on the fence with these types of endings, I both love and hate them and I think that’s why they work so well. I’m definitely rewatching this though.
