Ex Machina

Oscar Isaac was hilarious and not what I expected in his role. The conclusion opened up an entire new perspective from Nathan’s eyes for me and really locked this is as a solid psychological thriller. The slow burn battle going on in the back of Caleb’s mind throughout the whole film was great and satisfying until the bitter but predictable ending. Ava earned her humanity, and there is nothing more disgustingly human than selfish desire for freedom by means of betrayal and manipulation.
