Primal
For a show that has such little speaking, it speaks so loud. I love how much emotion and fondness is carried between a cavemen and a dinosaur over their shared loss of family and children, finding a way to create a new unconventional family of their own that endures and conquers blood, sweat, tears and everything else in between. The show is equally gruesome and chaotic as it is poetic. I love the constant adrenaline rush.
I have been watching this show since it came out in 2019 after hearing Genndy Tartakovsky was behind the project and I couldn’t have been more amped. It was everything I anticipated and more. Though this past year I was surprised and shocked to hear the announcement of a third season after season 2s finale. I have just watched the second to last episode of the new season this morning and am waiting anxiously to see how the series climaxes. I have enjoyed every step of it and it brought out my childhood admiration of prehistoric life and barbaric nature.
