Ghost in the Shell

An incredible story about what it means to be human, as explored from a cyborg. Among a future with transhumanist integration and powerful AI that shapes how humans interact with technology, how do we maintain a sense of life? Is life really just boiled down to how we treat each other — do we bestow life to things and those around us? Can we demand life? Are these even worthwhile questions? I love this movie and I love the theme of how to recognize humanity. I love that it’s woven in a sci-fi action anime. I love the score. I love how intricate the story is, and how it comes from the perspective of a cyborg. Brilliant.
