Trainspotting

not scottish but i do come from a family of addicts. this felt like a really raw, honest, and brutal depiction of addiction that you don't often get without some kind of romanticization or glamorizing. not only is that kind of hard to find in media but i find it really important to have this sort of representation. also just such an iconic film, i'm glad i finally sat down to watch it.
