Maurice
Can a leopard change it's spots?Such a beautiful, magnificent cinematography. Those 2 hours were absolutely worth it, gorgeous movie. It really makes me feel sad, but not in a bursting into tears way, it rather makes me feel all-consuming grief, whole last 40 minutes I prayed Maurice would get his happy ending, and he probably did, tho it's most likely bounded to fail. And this is what makes me feel sad. Hall resist those feelings he had, but didn't cut them off unlike Clive did, and I'm sure clive regrets it. I also was so afraid that Alec would blackmail Maurice, so glad he didn't, they deserve their happy ending, they would be so proud of what world's become today, and it's the best part of human history, that the world is changing, and even though some of us still don't get to see those changes, in future people like us will, and this gives me hope
Anyway, in my opinion this movie is totally fundamental for it's niche. Highly recommend. And again, the cinematography is fucking insane, whole atmosphere just makes you dive into it
