Loki
Season 2
I think this is one of my favourite series of all-time.
Ouroboros - 5/5 (I mean I loved the first season to bits but somehow this is better. Ke Huy Quan is a star and he shines so bright here. The comedy is beautifully woven with the tension throughout. The direction is doing wonders here. The stress of the hand-held camera representing the pain of Loki's time slipping really made us feel for him.)
Breaking Bad - 4/5 (MARVEL FANFARE IS BACK!!! About the episode ,though, a bit of a slow-burn but, I liked the character building in general. Brad was quite fun. Seeing Sylvie again is great but seeing her live an actual life was endearing. O.B. was great yet again. Comedy gold. It seems like TVA is gonna have to bring in some Stormtroopers to deal with these Rebels.)
1893 - 4.5/5 (The whole 1800s aesthetic of the episode fucking rules. Right from the start, the new intro music emits that beautiful vibe. Victor Timely is one of the most interesting new characters and Jonathan Majors is a goddamn treasure. His acting needs to be studied, taught. I liked how much deeper it went into the minds of Miss Minutes and Renslayer. Truly slayed.)
Heart of the TVA - 4.5/5 (Such a fun episode. It was both fast-paced and slowed down for its important character moments. Loki and Sylvie yelling 'Turn it off!' with excitement was so funny. Renslayer and Miss Minutes continue to be a brutal duo. They showed zero mercy but also received zero mercy, too. Jonathan Majors was astonishing, yet again. The ending got me good, I wasn't expecting that. They sure know how to excite us for next week.)
Science/Fiction - 4.5/5 (I didn't like that lives and memories were reset again. It just wasted more time. This episode could've been used more wisely. I liked the character development for Loki. I liked that he spent this episode finding his glorious purpose to go back and save lives. But overall, I still loved it and loved how it set up for the finale.)
Glorious Purpose - 6/5 (Marvel isn't dead, the movies are. This is still the best piece of TV there is.
