Leviathan

Just like the cover says, a masterpiece. Extremely complex and it felt difficult to watch, in a good way. First half felt like 2 hours itself, second half felt like 10 minutes. Incredible acting. The acting was so good, that I would bet my liver that every actors behavior is the same way in reality.  Next point, the cinematography. It's so beautiful, one of the best, if not the best camera work I've ever seen. The small northern coast town fits perfectly in the story and I wish more movies would have a setting like this one. It took me almost 30 minutes to actually get what the movie is about since I like to go blind into the movies and just knowing the title. It seems like there's not only a plot twist, but a complete turn in what the movie is about. So if you want to watch it, keep in mind that it's pacing is pretty slow, but trust the process! There were so many switches which I really enjoyed. Masterpiece and one of my favorite movies of all time.
