Inception

🔥 5th Watch | Top 100 | Christopher Nolan Ranked Inception is when you mix a crime thriller, emotional family stories (father-son relationships and having to deal with the grief and loss of a dead wife and not being able to see your kids), time dilation, the comparison (and contrasts) of dreams and reality, Nolan's direction with many years of crafting the story, a great budget (which in turn allows for a stacked cast and amazing visuals and practical effects), and also that beautiful Hans Zimmer music which beautifully emphasizes each aspect of the film. In addition, the pacing for this film is phenomenal. A 2.5 hour movie felt more like 1.5 hours. Not only is this an entertaining film, it's also a film with brilliant artistry and a massive cultural impact.
