Sinners

This film has so many things to say and they’re all said so brilliantly. This film juggles so many themes and ideas with not only ease but style and flair. This film would have been brilliant if it was just a drama about music’s mysteriously magical abilities and how it began to draw a divide between religious peoples and between the youth and the elderly, but the horror element, which is done expertly, makes it something that I feel is truly a masterpiece when it comes to filmmaking. Not to mention one of the best endings to a film that I’ve seen in years. GOAT vampire film for me. My favorite film of 2025. Let Ryan Coogler do whatever the hell he wants.
