The Wind Rises

A beautiful and brilliant tribute to those that had dreams of invention and innovation that were destroyed by war and politics. A portrait of a hope and love amongst chaos and ruin. Probably the most inventive and fun sound design I’ve ever heard in a film - everything from the hums of the planes to the growls of the earthquake. Another Miyazaki masterpiece.
