I noticed two things about Lynch movies: 1. There's almost always a shot of a road in at night from the car's point of view at least once 2.the sex scenes are always erotic, but not noisy, no moaning, maybe talking, and I think it adds to the the sexiness of the scene Also this movie is mysterious and important and I choose defiant jazz
