Superman
Absolute cinema. Everything was good, the casting(especially David Corensweat as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex.), the music(Main score, Mr. Terrific fight song, I'm a punkrocker). The fights, the colour grading isn't gray and bland like most other superhero movies nowadays.
Every single character in the movie was banging, Superman was the goat, Lex was goated. Lois actually has a role in the movie and has perfect chemistry with Clark. The justice gang was fire(although hawk girl could've been better, still she killed Big B tho so it's fine). Elemental man was cool, and ofcourse Krypto was super cute and peak. Even side characters like Jimmy Olsen, Eve, etc. were good.
The villain is an absolute banger, Lex might be the absolute biggest hater I've ever seen in my life(Bro genuinely hired monkeys to hate on Superman online😭😭) and he is so smart, he genuinely uses his brain in tech, the pocket universe, aswell as the plans.
And ofcourse, most importantly, this movie GETS Superman. It gets the idea and concept of Superman. Superman IS hope in this movie, he saves every single life he can, whether it's a normal human, an alien baby, a dog or even a squirrel. He isn't all dark and gloomy like Henry Cavill, he is corny and confident like how Clark is supposed to be. He is the epitome of kindness and empathy. He is THE kindest, even other heroes like Mr. Terrific get tired of how kind he is, but that's just who Superman is. He literally even felt bad for Lex in the end of the movie after everything he did. He tried to kill the big Kaiju in a less painful way. James Gunn got Superman perfectly right.
Overall, just as a movie, is give it about 8.8, but because of watching this movie just makes me feel, that feeling of hope and just makes me want to be a better person and kinder, and imo that's exactly what a Superman movie should do, so for me it is.
