Metropolis

“The day will come when the machine man will destroy his creator!” This is my second time watching this film, and I just love everything about it. It will always hold a special place in my heart as my very first silent film, and I’m genuinely proud that I started with such a masterpiece. Everything about it is brilliant, the acting, the story, the cinematography, and the overall atmosphere. The characters are unforgettable, and the film’s artistry is simply breathtaking. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the length. For a silent film, it can feel a bit long, and at times, it’s a challenge to stay fully engaged. But trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. This film is nothing short of a timeless classic.
