The Evil Dead

“You bastards, why are you torturing me like this?!” For me this is the most fun film ever made. I’ve probably watched it around seven times by now but I still can’t get enough of it. Everything about Evil Dead just feels right the story, the characters, the pacing, the music, the cinematography and the overall concept. It’s one of those films that’s hard to explain it just clicks. The only reason I can’t give it a full 5 stars is because I rate movies based on a mix of objective writing quality and personal enjoyment. Personally it’s a 6/5 for me but objectively the writing is closer to a 3/5. That’s the only thing holding it back which honestly sucks but still Evil Dead is the film I’ve rewatched the most and for a damn good reason.
