Blow Out
Absolutely insane that Brian De Palma made Carrie and this within 5 years of each other. Also crazy that this wasn’t even nominated for any academy awards. John Travolta, Nancy Allen and John Lithgow were all fantastic in this. Really just filled with memorable moments and also very visually appealing. I can’t believe I hadn’t even heard of this until just recently, it is definitely one of the more interesting and just overall well done films I’ve seen. Wow, that ending was absolutely DEVASTATING, probably one of the more poetic films ever.
