Dune: Part Two

Shoutout to Austin Butler for being that bald and pasty, and yet that sexy at the same time. Didn’t think it could be done If dune 3 is as good as it looks, the dune trilogy will be in the conversation for the best trilogy ever. Probably not number 1, but it’ll deserve to be up there. Villeneuve is really one of the greats. He’s top 3 for me as of rn. Could argue dune 2 has the best cinematography, and just most beautiful shots of any movie. You really feel the difference in scale compared to the first movie, and even just from dune 3’s trailer, you can see they’re upping the scale again. It only feels like it’s getting bigger and better and I absolutely love it Casting is also perfect. Say whatever you want about timothee chalamet and his ballet/opera take, but he’s a generational actor. Absolutely an Oscar worthy performance from him in this. Not to mention his range, considering he also killed it in other roles like wonka and beautiful boy that are so vastly different. Amazing stuff. He isn’t the only one though, because actors like Austin butler, zendaya, Javier bardem and Rebecca Ferguson were also phenomenal Denis Villeneuve Ranked
