Michael
I grew up with my family keeping these two chunky DVD albums of Michael Jackson, and they were always our go-to whenever we wanted to just chill together. At some point, it kinda became my thing too, playing them on my own, just vibing in front of the TV. I first got to know the Jackson 5 thanks to my great-grandpa, who’d spin their vinyl every time we visited his place.
So when this film dropped after I’d grown up, it honestly felt like it answered so many of the questions I had as a kid.
Big thanks to Jaafar Jackson for portraying his uncle so spot-on, it really hit. And now, lowkey, I wish I could time travel back just to experience one of his concerts live.
