An amazing thriller from top to bottom, this one takes a new approach on a detective movie by giving us many different views on how everyone deals with loss and revenge. First, the opening does a great job setting up just how much Keller cares for his family and foreshadows his eventual downfall and turn to an almost psycho level. As far as emotions go, for a thriller, there are some super strong emotional beats that add even more thump to your heart as the scenes go on. The plot in this movie, while simple, is incredibly engaging and exciting to watch and leaves you confused and asking questions throughout. The acting by the main 2 is unbelievable and the 2’s main relationship is one of a kind and is developed great throughout the movie. As far as the second half goes, its what really seals this one as an absolute masterpiece among film, the constant thrill sequences, plot twists, and great dialogue do an amazing job resolving and closing out this one, you just need to see it. I could go on about this one for a while but I will just say, watch it, it is a masterpiece. As far as the negatives go, i find myself seeing absolutely none, the only possible thing I can conjure up is the cinematography is great, not amazing.
Also, I love how they did the ending, sometimes these movies go on for too long at the end and can leave a bad taste, but this one does a great job leaving a cliffhanger but telling you excatly what happens, I know he found him, can’t tell me otherwise.
