The Outsider
Similar to Twin Peaks and Stephen King works like It, in that it would be nice to be able to pin the evils and atrocities of the world onto a singular malevolent force. Strange and bleak in all the best ways, but occasionally gets too caught up in King lore exploration. Fortunately it coalesces in the third act in a satisfying way thematically (it’s about grief!) and narratively (creature feature plus procedural).
