Funny Games

Honestly, when I had first heard about this movie at 13, I was new to horror and teenagers are notorious for taking things personally. So, I wrote it off as pretentious “video games cause murders” “horror movie bad” film… but honestly, I realized that there’s truth to what Haneke said about his reason for making this film. It DOES apply to some people and some movies… he had a point with this film, just bc it doesn’t apply to every horror movie or every horror fan… I mean, look at the way that ppl treat true crime… and that’s REAL…  TL;DR: movie good, idc if it actually IS pretentious, and it is a very very uncomfortable watch
