I’m actually an idiot for not realizing Paul Mescal was Shakespeare this whole time.  I fuckin’ sobbed my eyes out during this movie. Jessie Buckley has been one of my fav actresses recently and this is definitely her best performance. Paul Mescal always great as the hot sad boy. But the real standout for me was Jacobi Jupe he gave one of the best child performances I’ve seen in a long time, brought me to tears several times. Chloe Zao also shoots the film in such a great way with having these long takes on scenes to make it almost feel like you’re watching a play. She stays on a shot for a little longer to show the subtle acting choices made my Mescal and Buckley. I really liked this film and I hope it gets a good amount of awards.
