This reminded me of Adaptation for some reason, except in here the director clearly has a larger ego but at the same time has no issue demonstrating how frustrated he has become with the entire process of making a movie, and not just the writing. Also his dream sequences are very well made.
Overall it’s a really beautiful movie and I was really happy to find almost every scene very aesthetically pleasing. I totally get why this is considered a classic.
