will denis ever not make a banger holy. seeing this ranked at the bottom of his filmography is crazy to me. ik ppl say this a lot, but i genuinely finished this and was so confused at the ending. thought it had it all figured out then the final scene is crazy. this thing looks so good, the deep yellow and brown hues along with the whole scene all being so dreary and uninspiring, perfectly portraying Adam’s life as repetitive. the deeper meaning in everything is so cool, i can’t wait to rewatch this and see what i missed. doesn’t hold your hand at all, makes you think about what’s happening and what could happen next the entire time. played the whole concept better than another popular movie that i will not name for spoilers. so tense and thrilling, infectious score. jake gyllenhaal and psychological thrillers r such a perfect match. absolutely amazing.
