Sinners

Gonna fk around and bump this into my top 4. Been knocking on the door at #5. This movie does something to me man. Every time I watch this film, I come away with a different favorite scene.  First watch: Smoke 💨 KKK  Second watch: I Lied To You  Third watch: Climactic fight sequence This watch: two in particular. the twins buying the juke Joint building + the mid credits scene. It’s one of the best scenes of my life. Coogler giving us an appetizer of a perfectly crafted opening act exposition, entree of eloquently building tension masqueraded in a perfect score and then dessert of one of the most perfect mid credits scenes of all time for the cherry on top.  BEAUTIFUL film. In IMAX, tiny theaters and a 60 inch TV on my mantle. Absolutely unbelievable accomplishment of a film. God, man.
