Materialists

This is so not that bad. I had really low expectations when i saw the ratings and reveiws and i have to say, most of them are valid. This movie forcefeeds you its meaning, which i never like in a film, it tries to be deeper than it is and takes itself way too seriously. However even despite that i couldn't help but be touched by it. I truly hate a lot of the lines in the script but somehow the long cuts and cinematography worked even after all the cornball edginess. If... you also ignored the "heightism is a serious issue" propaganda. The best moments to me aren't even ones that have dialogue at all. It's either that or this movie just had Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal. Speaking of, why didn't Chris Evans get a sex scene?? My blood is boiling.
