WHY DOES EVERYBODY HATE THIS MOVIE To me, the descent into madness and the slow progression of everything getting more and more puzzling overtime was excellently done. The visuals and the directing are great and the shots are beautifully surreal all while keeping this certain intense energy of impending doom consistently. I've never felt so thrillingly confused. My only problem is the unclearness of the base plot in the sense that even after the movie ends we don't really know how and why all of it was significant. While i don't mind endings left open to interpretation, this one just does it in a very odd way. It's this middle ground between an answer and a non-answer which just leaves you feeling very unsatisfied considering everything has been building up for a final conclusion, and that conclusion doesn't end up concluding.
