The Substance

thought some of the exposition and pacing at the beginning was weird and the screenplay does a few things which lessen the impact of what could be cool things to notice on repeat viewings, but otherwise holy shit. there's nothing else like this really, such a powerful film which knows what it wants to say it says it in ways which few people would dare to. demi moore is incredible.
